Comprehensive Immigration Reform Moves in the Senate

This week in the Senate has been one long roller-coaster ride. There have been many amendments proposed, accepted and defeated. Now, the senators will come home over the next week for Memorial Day recess. They say they expect many calls against the program that would fine undocumented immigrants and then put them on a path to documentation (Z-VISAS). I say, let's surprise them with the number of people in Colorado who agree that just Comprehensive Immigration Reform is necessary, the number of people who have experienced the cultural and economic contributions of immigrants, and the number of people who feel that their own destiny, dignity and rights are not safe as long as another person's are trampled upon.

Google has been widely publicizing their view on the immigration bill. You can read their arguments and even watch video testimony in the Google blog:

Also, there is a wealth of related information under the blog entry - for other items that refer to the post.
